“Welcoming Babies”
Once a year, all parents with their newborn children (up to approx. 2 years) are invited to the TU Clausthal for the welcome ceremony. The baby welcome has been taking place at TU Clausthal since 2011. In 2019 it was celebrated together with the 5th anniversary of the Uni-Mice and in 2021 at the opening of the playground at the Uni-Lynxes. The children will be welcomed by the responsible member of the Executive Board, currently the Vice-President for Equal Opportunities and the Promotion of Young Academics, Prof. Heike Schenk-Mathes, and a small welcome gift will be presented.
Where: Dining Hall (“Mensa”) of the Association for Student Affairs in East Lower Saxony (Leibnizstraße 23, 38678 Clausthal-Zellerfeld)
Who: Children of TU-members (employees and students) from birth to approx. 2 years of age
When: Scheduled for November 28th, 2023 3.00 p.m. to approx. 5.00 p.m.
What: Welcoming program and entertainment for the little ones
