Maternity Protection (Act)

Since January 01^st, 2018 the Maternity Protection Act also applies to female students. All pregnant students are obligated to notify the university of their pregnancy. Thus, please contact the  Advisory Service of TU Clausthal.

The Maternity Protection Act applies to all expectant mothers and begins 6 weeks before the estimated due date and usually ends 8 weeks after the actual due date (for multiple births or premature births 12 weeks after childbirth).
