What is Niedersachsen-Technikum?

The Niedersachsen-Technikum (Lower Saxony Technical Centre) is a fast and sustainable concept for recruiting young women in the field of mathematics, natural sciences, computer science and technology (STEM). Young women with German Abitur or a technical college entrance qualification can try out whether STEM corresponds to their abilities and preferences.

Over a period of six months, the participants complete a work placement at a partner company four days a week. On one day a week, the participants attend a regular first-semester course at Clausthal University of Technology.

For companies, this is an opportunity to attract young women to STEM professions and to interest this target group in your company. You present your company to the participants and benefit from the public relations work of the Lower Saxony Technical Centre.
